My name is Ms. Redmer. I grew up in Warren, a suburb of Detroit. I attended Ferris State University and earned a B.A in Secondary Education, with a double major in English and Biology. I began teaching English in Bellevue in the 2000-2001 school year. In 2007, I graduated with a Master's degree in School Counseling and Guidance from the University of West Alabama. I will be starting my 21st year here in Bellevue. This year, my role consists of both teaching and counseling. I will be available to meet with students for career and college planning, testing preparation, academic, social and personal counseling. I will be available from 7:30-8:45, and between 11:45 and 1:45. During the other hours I will be teaching Senior English and ELA 9. I am very excited to be back in the classroom. This year is even more special as I will have a regular guest with me. Fable, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, will be joining me as Bellevue's own therapy dog. Fable is a certified therapy dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Stay tuned for more information about how your son or daughter may visit with Fable.
I currently live in Bellevue. I have three dogs: Dodger, Fable, and BUG, a cat: Drama, and a couple fish tanks.
